## The Scorpion Trilogy: Robert Walker’s war with Saddam Hussein’s Iraq

The Scorpion Trilogy is three military thrillers built around Robert Walker and his Special Forces team. In [Eagle’s Talon](https://stephenfmontagnabooks.com/books/eagle-s-talon/), Saddam Hussein sends assassins after the American President and Walker’s team goes into Iraq to capture their leader. [The Scorpion Sting](https://stephenfmontagnabooks.com/books/the-scorpion-sting/) brings the retaliation home: a new cell is sent to kill the prisoner and the soldiers who took him. [Daughter of the Scorpion](https://stephenfmontagnabooks.com/books/daughter-of-the-scorpion/) sends Captain Walker into the Iraqi desert after a designer bioweapon and the young woman who may know where it is.

The series review published by Author’s Choice LLC calls it a bold, high-intensity series that merges geopolitical thriller, military fiction and counterterrorism drama; its [full text](https://stephenfmontagnabooks.com/reviews/scorpion-trilogy/) is on this site. Walker’s story continues outside the trilogy too—see [the full reading order](https://stephenfmontagnabooks.com/series/).
