This novel continues where 'Eagle's Talon' ended. When another Iraqi terrorist group is sent to the United States by President Saddam Hussein to kill the Iraqi operative captured and brought to the United States to stand trail, along with killing some of the American troops who invaded Iraq to take the lead terrorist prisoner. Walker and his Special Forces troops search and find and then kill the terrorist cell working in the United States and end the threat aimed against the American soldiers.

READER’S GUIDE
The Scorpion Sting by Stephen Francis Montagna is a special forces military thriller (Scorpion Trilogy). The mission is over. The retaliation has only begun.
The Scorpion Sting continues where Eagle’s Talon ended. President Saddam Hussein sends another Iraqi terrorist group into the United States with two targets: the operative captured in Iraq and brought to America to stand trial, and the American troops who went in to take him prisoner.
Walker and his Special Forces troops have to find the cell working inside the country and end the threat to the soldiers, which turns the aftermath of one mission into a hunt on home ground. The editorial review published with the novel, by Daniel P. Whitaker, describes a terrorist cell operating within the United States from the opening prologue and calls the book a compelling blend of action, realism and geopolitical intrigue.

Yes. The review published with the novel prints the title as “The Scorpion’s Sting.” The current title is The Scorpion Sting.
It helps. The author describes The Scorpion Sting as continuing where Eagle’s Talon ended: the man the new cell is sent to kill is the operative captured in that novel.
