Who owns the novels

The novels are the copyrighted work of Stephen Francis Montagna: the text, the titles, the covers, the book portfolios and the book trailers. The descriptions on this website are his own or are summaries of his published descriptions. Visiting or using this website transfers none of those rights.

The design of the website—the arrangement of the pages, the visual system and the reading room—was created by Knight Logics for the author.

What you may do

You may read the pages, look at the covers, turn the book portfolios on this website and watch the trailers through the players provided. You may link to any page and share it. You may quote a short passage for review, criticism, comment or scholarship where the law allows it, with credit to Stephen Francis Montagna and a link to the page. Each page ends with a ready-made citation.

What needs permission

Translating, excerpting at length, adapting, reprinting the book portfolios or review documents, or using a cover or a trailer in your own promotion all need the author’s permission. So does copying the page text or design onto another site, or presenting a copy as the author’s website or store. The novels and portfolios are not released under an open license by being visible here, and the review documents may not be cropped, altered or republished as endorsements.

Editorial reviews

The reviews are reproduced from the review documents published with the books, with each reviewer and outlet exactly as printed. The text of each review is shown so it can be read, searched and quoted with credit; the original document is shown with it.

Asking for permission

Write to [email protected]: say what you would like to use and how. Permissions are granted only in writing by the author or someone he appoints.
