What this website keeps, what it never collects, and what happens when you play a trailer or buy a book on IngramSpark.
Who runs this website
This is the official website of the novelist Stephen Francis Montagna. It was designed and built for him by Knight Logics. This policy covers this website only. It does not cover YouTube, the booksellers a book page links to, or any other site.
What this website does not collect
There is no account, no password and no checkout. The pages carry no advertising pixel and no traffic-analytics tag. Your reading list stays in your own browser; it is not sent to the author, to Knight Logics or to anyone else, and nothing is sold or shared.
Searching the library loads a catalog file that is part of the website. That request asks only for the list of titles.
The reading list
The reading list is kept in your browser’s local storage, for this website only. The plus on a book adds it; the same browser shows the list again on your next visit. You can clear it with the button below, or by clearing this site’s stored data in your browser.
Buying a book
Stephen sells his books through IngramSpark. The paperback and hardback buttons on each book page open that edition’s page on IngramSpark’s store (shop.ingramspark.com) in a new tab. Your order, payment, shipping address and receipt are handled entirely by IngramSpark, under its own privacy policy and terms of sale. This website never sees them and takes no payment.
The contact form
Email sent to [email protected] is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to the inbox where the author’s correspondence is handled. The contact form does not send anything itself: it opens your own email app with your message addressed to that address, and you send it from there. Your message, name and email address are used only to reply. This website does not publish a telephone number.
Trailers and book portfolios
The book trailers are published on YouTube. On the trailers page they sit in a privacy-enhanced player from youtube-nocookie.com; on other pages the player loads only when you choose to play a trailer. Once it loads, YouTube handles the request under its own privacy policy.
The book portfolios are page images stored on this website. Turning their pages does not send you to another service or open an account anywhere.
Motion, younger readers and changes
The pause control in the header stops the background motion, and the site follows your device’s reduced-motion setting. A choice you make on the page itself is kept in local storage for this site.
The novels are fiction for adults, with war, terrorism and, in some books, biological or nuclear danger. This website is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.
If the website opens accounts, takes payment itself or adds analytics, this policy will be rewritten first. This version is dated 7 November 2026. See also the terms of use and copyright and permissions.
