BOOK OVERVIEW

SOURCE PAGE 05

The Vulture Will Lead You to Death is a high-stakes military thriller built around a dangerous international terrorist operation aimed at the United States—and the elite American soldiers racing to stop it before an attack on Miami becomes a catastrophe.

The novel combines military action, covert operations, international intrigue, terrorism, pursuit, hostage danger, political decision-making, and personal loyalty. At the center of the story is Captain Robert Walker and the highly trained Multi-National Rapid Response Force (MNRRF), an elite military unit created to respond to threats that conventional forces cannot handle.

The novel begins in the aftermath of a successful operation at the Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant in New York. Captain Walker and his soldiers have stopped terrorists from triggering a nuclear disaster. Their success prompts senior American leaders to reconsider the role of the specialized force and whether it should be maintained as a rapid-response capability capable of defending the homeland as well as responding to threats overseas.

SOURCE PAGE 06

But the victory is only the beginning.

Years later, a new and far more ambitious terrorist operation begins to take shape.

Its leader is Iranian General Abdol Karim Kalantari—known to his own followers as the Vulture.

His objective is to lead a carefully prepared terrorist force into the United States and strike a strategically important target in Miami.

What follows is a race across international borders, the Florida Keys, and the streets of Miami as Walker and his fellow soldiers attempt to discover the terrorists' objective, rescue one of their own, and prevent an attack capable of producing catastrophic destruction.

The attack has been stopped.

The United States has once again survived an assault that could have resulted in enormous destruction.
