READER’S GUIDE
The Vector by Stephen Francis Montagna is a geopolitical bioterror thriller. Eight operatives. Eight cities. A threat without borders.
The Vector is a geopolitical bioterrorism thriller set after the October 7 attack on Israel. With the United States joining the war, Iran decides to strike America directly. Eight volunteers each have a tooth removed and replaced with a hollow false tooth holding a deadly biological agent. They are sent to Mexico, across the border and on toward eight major American cities.
In the author’s words, a vector is someone infected with a disease. Once each volunteer is in place, the order is to destroy the false tooth and use the three to five days before the germ kills them to infect as many people as they can. The attack needs no missile and no bomb, only people. The editorial review published with the novel names Nasser Makarem Taleqani among the handlers who run the operation and recommends the book to readers of Tom Clancy, Vince Flynn and hyper-realistic international espionage.
